KSY multilayer blow molding machines are engineered for pesticide and agrochemical packaging. Use 3-layer, 4-layer or 5-layer structures to separate chemical contact, structural strength and EVOH/PA barrier functions in one corrosion-resistant bottle.

Why multilayer? A single-layer bottle cannot simultaneously offer chemical resistance, high barrier and drop strength. Co-extrusion divides these functions between layers — giving safer, longer-lasting packaging for aggressive crop-protection products.

01 Multilayer Bottle Structures

Choose the layer structure that matches your chemical formulation, target shelf life and local packaging requirements.

Layer 1 — Outer protection

HDPE / PP structural layer with UV stabilizers; provides rigidity and impact strength.

Layer 2 — Adhesive

Bonds the structural layer to the barrier layer and prevents delamination.

Main oxygen / solvent barrier; dramatically slows permeation of aggressive chemicals.

Layer 4 — Adhesive (chemical-resistant grade)

Keeps the inner contact layer bonded even when in contact with solvents or surfactants.
