01 Why Use an Automatic Empty Bottle Packer?
Many bottle production lines still pack bottles into bags manually. This is repetitive work that can be automated, especially when the same bottle format runs for long periods.
Reduces manual handling
Operators do not need to pick and pack every bottle by hand. The machine can manage the repetitive motion of counting and inserting bottles into a bag.
Consistent cycle time
A servo-driven push action provides a constant packing motion and reduces variation between operators.
Compact design
The machine can be placed near the end of a blow molding line or after a leak tester, keeping the packing step close to production.
Basic production data
The PLC records cycle counts and alarms, allowing the line operator to monitor output from the HMI.
02 Machine Design and Construction
The machine is designed for everyday operation in a bottle production environment. Key construction features include:
Aluminum alloy frame
The main frame uses single-groove aluminum alloy profile, providing strength while keeping the machine relatively light and clean-looking.
304 stainless steel contact parts
All areas that touch the bottles are manufactured in 304 stainless steel, making the machine easier to keep clean and appropriate for food or cosmetics plants.
Adjustable cylinders
Bag handling and bottle positioning use several adjustable pneumatic cylinders, so the machine can be adapted to different bottle shapes and bag sizes.
Tool-less changeover concept
Guide rails and pusher positions are designed for quick adjustment when changing between bottle sizes.
World-class components
Pneumatic and electronic components are selected from established industrial brands to reduce unplanned downtime.
Operator-friendly HMI
The touchscreen displays current machine status, batch count and alarm messages in a clear, simple layout.
03 How the Packing Process Works
The empty bottle packing machine performs four main steps during each packing cycle.
Bottle infeed and alignment
Bottles arrive from the blow molding line or leak tester and are positioned in the correct orientation before the packing station.
Bag opening and positioning
The bag holder opens the empty bag using pneumatic cylinders and keeps it in the correct position for bottle insertion.
Servo-driven bottle insertion
The servo motor push system inserts the bottles into the bag at a controlled force and speed. This reduces the risk of damaging either the bottles or the bag.
Bag release and discharge
Once filled, the bag is released and transferred to the next station for sealing or palletizing.
